Right at Home Haverhill Moves at Moving Day Boston® 2017 for the Fight Against Parkinson’s Disease
Right at Home Haverhill, a leading provider of in-home companion and personal care to senior citizens and others, is a National Sponsor of the National Parkinson Foundation’s Moving Day®, an event dedicated to raise funds and awareness for those who live with Parkinson’s disease. For the last four years, Right at Home Boston and North and Right at Home's across the country, volunteer, create teams, raise funds and create buzz for this important cause.
Moving Day® Boston, is more than just a walk. At its core there is a strong emphasis on movement and exercise as a symbol of hope, progress and determination because of their essential roles in treating Parkinson’s disease. Each event features a Movement Pavilion, with stations such as yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, dance, boxing and much more. In addition to the Movement Pavillion, the event also features a Resource Pavillion, Refreshment Tent and Vendor Booths. Whether you take part on a team join as an individual or volunteer, you will get a chance to move alongside other supporters who share the same goal—to help beat Parkinson’s disease.

National Parkinson’s Foundation seeks to make life better for individuals with Parkinson’s, their family and caretakers through excellent care and research. The foundation seeks to help people enjoy their lives with family, friends and loved ones until there is a tomorrow without Parkinson’s. Since it’s inception in the late 1950’s, the organization has raised more than $189 million in care, research and supportive services for the community.
We had an awesome time at Moving Day® Boston 2017 this year! In keeping with the Moving Day® tradition, we were the official team photographer at the event.
