If you have a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan or a Medicare Advantage Plan (HMO, PPO), you should have received this information from your plan by September. It is important to look this information over and keep the information in a safe and secure place, because this also explains the changes to your plan in 2018.

During the open enrollment period, you will have the opportunity to change your plan for the coming year (2018). For example, if you have never had a prescription drug plan but you would like to, this is your opportunity to join one.
