Right at Home Runs for Mobility

Right at Home participated in the franchise’s annual Home Improvement Home Care Conference in Glendale Arizona from May 1st through May 4th.

On the first day, our team members, Rosaleen Doherty CEO Co-Owner, Jay Kenney COO Co-Owner and Community Relations Director Celeste Begley put on their running shoes and joined hundreds of other franchisors for Run For Mobility—A Run For Those Who Can’t. The event kicked-off the conference in a glow run/walk aimed at giving attendees an opportunity to have some fun.

“The 5k Run For Mobility was so much fun. It was a great way to team build and exercise all while making a difference in improving the lives of those we serve”, said Celeste Begley Community Relations Director for Right at Home Boston and North.

Free Wheelchair Mission is a nonprofit organization that provides wheelchairs at no cost to people with disabilities living in developing nations. In collaboration with partners who share similar values, like Right at Home, Free Wheelchair Mission has provided mobility to over one million people in need around the world. We recently celebrated our 1-year anniversary giving the gift of mobility to those in need. Right at Home’s franchisees, employees, parent company, and strategic partners, three containers of wheelchairs were shipped out over the past year, giving the gift of mobility to 1,650 people with disabilities in developing nations.
