What is Parkinson's Disease?

Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurological disorder affecting the brain, balance, coordination and movement. No two people experience the disease the same way however commonalities exist between individuals who present the disease. The disease affects roughly 60,000 men and women across the United States annually. Currently, there are no cures and the causes still remain unknown, however, treatment options are available to manage symptoms.
