Atlanta Area Fall Events

Regularly networking with other professionals who care for seniors in private homes or assisted living communities helps us keep up to date with the latest resources available for our caregivers and clients.  Thanks to Charter Senior Living for hosting this event. 

As an independently owned and operated Right at Home office, we are fortunate to be part of a large network of independent owners who work together to serve seniors wherever they may choose to live.  It's great when we are able to join together to support great causes, as we did this month with the team at Right at Home of East Atlanta, when we joined forces to be silver sponsors for the Jack and Jill Foundation of America Atlanta Bold Lips and Bow Ties Event.

Although our in home care services focus on homebound adults and seniors, we are active in supporting the Atlanta community in many ways, including our participation in Jack and Jill Foundation efforts to support Atlanta youth programs.

As a companion and personal care provider for seniors around the Atlanta suburbs, we have worked with many senior communities, including Phillips Tower in Decatur.  This October our team provided information about how companion care and personal care services can help seniors living in facilities at a health fair in Phillips Tower, sponsored by Neurostudies. 

Right at Home sponsors an annual fundraiser to help people with Parkinson's Disease.  The event is called "Moving Day" because it focus on movement and exercises that can be beneficial for Parkinson's Disease.  It's an outdoor fundraising event in Atlanta including a walk, as well as multiple stations where participants can try out different exercises like Tai Chi or dancing.  Our staff and their family members had a great time walking at this year's Atlanta Moving Day. 

We enjoyed some Halloween fun and professional networking at the annual Cobb After Hours event at Six Flags Fright Night.
