Moreover, please note that each Right at Home franchise is independently owned and operated, and the franchisor (Right at Home, LLC) does not control or manage the day-to-day business operations of any Right at Home franchised agency. Right at Home, LLC expressly disclaims any and all liability for any of its franchisee’s or master franchisee’s failure to satisfy any compliance obligations under applicable law.
- HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
Information You Provide. Certain areas of the Websites allow you to submit information to us. We may collect information that either directly identifies you or could reasonably be used in combination with other publicly available information to identify you (“personal information”). We may aggregate that personal information and certain non-personally identifiable information as well.
Personal information includes, but is not limited to, the following data:
- First name and last name
- Username and password
- Email address
- Phone number
- Street address
- Country of residence
- Health information

Depending on the Websites you use, you might not need to provide some of the aforementioned information, but in some cases, you may not be able to access all parts of our Websites if you choose not to provide your information. If you submit personal information relating to other people to us in connection with the Websites, you represent that you have the authority to do so, and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Policy. If you are a healthcare professional or an institutional healthcare provider, you are responsible for obtaining any legally required authorization, consent or other permission from your patients prior to providing their personal information to Right at Home through the Websites. By submitting any personal information about a patient, you represent and warrant to us that you have obtained all required permissions to do so.
Information We Collect Automatically. We may also automatically collect other basic information about you that does not directly identify you, but may correspond with you, your browser, or a particular device. This includes the following data:
- Device information (e.g. OS type or browser type)
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Browser device (e.g. laptop or mobile)
- Website usage (e.g. pages viewed, amount of time on page, exit URLs, etc.)
- Preferred language
- Cookie ID
We may collect this data using the techniques described below:
Cookies. Our Websites may use a tracking technology called a “cookie.” A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website that can be understood by the website that issued the cookie. - HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION
From the moment you provide information to us, we begin using this information to evaluate your specific care needs. In particular, we use information to: (i) create a baseline assessment that will help us identify your needs and understand how we can help address your needs; (ii) develop a Custom Care Plan that includes detailed recommendations regarding which Right at Home services would be most beneficial to you; (iii) match you with the caregiver who is best suited to implement care; and (iv) manage the care services you receive, as well as the invoicing process for such services.
In addition, the following circumstances are some ways in which we may use your information:
- to provide the information, products and services you request;
- for security, credit or fraud prevention purposes;
- to provide you with effective customer service;
- to provide you with a personalized experience when you use our Websites;
- to contact you with special offers and other information we believe will be of interest to you (in accordance with any privacy preferences you have expressed to us);
- to contact you with information and notices related to your use of our Websites;
- to invite you to participate in surveys and provide feedback to us (in accordance with any privacy preferences you have expressed to us);
- to better understand your needs and interests;
- to improve the content, functionality, and usability of the Websites;
- to improve our products and services;
- to market to you and similar audiences;
- to improve our marketing and promotional efforts; and
- for any other purpose identified in an applicable privacy notice, click-through agreement, or other agreement between you and us.
We may use information gathered through our Websites to create a compiled, aggregate view of our Websites’ audiences and their usage patterns. We use aggregated information to operate our Websites and to better understand our audience as we develop new products and services.

If you create an account on our Websites, it is your responsibility to protect your login credentials from unauthorized access or use.
We will retain information about you for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or Right at Home’s data retention policies unless a longer retention period is required by law.

If you would like to unsubscribe from any of our electronic newsletters or promotional emails, please follow the instructions contained in the promotional email or newsletter, or send an email to email@example.com and include the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line.
- CHILDREN AND PRIVACY
Our Websites are not intended for or directed towards children. We do not knowingly collect information from or about children sixteen (16) years of age or younger. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- DO NOT TRACK
Certain web browsers and other programs may be used to signal your preferences regarding how or whether Right at Home or third parties may collect information about your online activities. Currently, our Websites do not respond to such signals.
- SHINE THE LIGHT
For California residents, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information by certain members of Company to third parties for the third parties’ direct marking purposes.
