February Caregiver of the Month: Hester Hawkins

Every day the Right at Home Belmont team works hard to build, improve, and implement Right Care into the surrounding community. As each day becomes busier than the one before it we can become easily distracted, losing perspective of the importance of addressing the smaller things happening all around us. I would like take a moment to recognize someone who has made best of the smaller things, going out of the way, with a positive attitude, to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

Hester was, without hesitation, always volunteering to pitch in when the plans changed, was in constant communication with the client’s family and office as different situations arose, and eager to assist with the implementation of new systems. She became not only a caregiver for her client but a friend to her, as well as us. From engaging by taking shopping trips, preparing small meals, light housekeeping, to assisting with walks, watching the game, and just being a compassionate set of ears, we are proud to have Hester setting the example for those to follow.

Hester Hawkins we are blessed to have you as part of the team, we will offer to nurture your professional growth here at Right at Home in the time to come. Thank you for making this a special memory for all of us in many ways.
