17th Annual C.A.L.M Conference at USC.
Right at Home was proud to be a sponsor at the 17th Annual Caregiving Around the Clock (C.A.L.M.) Conference on October 28, 2017 on the campus of the University of Southern California (USC). We were pleased to meet with over 200 seniors, their family caregivers, and others in and around Los Angeles who provide a variety of different services to support our senior community as well as those who unsung heroes who help to take care of them.
The C.A.L.M. Conference is part of the USC Family Caregiver Support Program and is funded in part by L.A. Community and Social Senior Services and the world-renowned USC Davis School of Gerontology. The Conference was free to all attendees and included multiple seminars and conferences on where family caregivers and seniors can seek assistance as well as learn about ways to provide the best possible care and to learn more about the aging population in Los Angeles and beyond.
“We are honored to be a part of this important community event and proud to be associated with such a lauded institution as the USC Davis School of Gerontology,” stated Doug Dickstein, owner of the Right at Home office located in Burbank, CA. “Not only have we been able to meet and talk with area seniors and their caregivers about what Right at Home can provide, we’ve also been able to learn so much from them and their day-to-day struggles and successes. It’s been a great day.”
Added Andy Cohen, owner of Right at Home in Rancho Cucamonga, “This event is such a valuable forum for those in our community. We’re so happy that Right at Home has been able to continue its partnership with USC.”
