Looking for Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) to fill hourly openings. The ideal candidate is reliable, caring, compassionate and sincerely interested in improving the life of those we serve. Individuals should have experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, strong communication skills, problem solving ability and organizational skills.
Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant
- Responsibilities may include light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring and ambulation activities, range of motion exercises, vital signs ,temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure
- Primarily work in the client's place of residence or facility
- Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs
Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile
- Pass a written competency evaluation, drug screen and a nationwide background check
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- Must have current CPR certificate
- TB Negative/ Chest X-ray Result
- Annual Physical Free from Any Communicable Diseases
- Driver’s License
- CNA License
- CEU Alzheimer’s /Dementia Related Disease (4Hrs.)
- CEU HIV/AIDS
- CEU Assisting with self-medication (2 Hrs.)
