Annual Senior Health and Financial Fitness Expo 2017

The annual Senior Health and Financial Fitness Expo is always a good time to meet up with friends from the health and financial industries, and to make some new ones. It is also a great opportunity to speak with seniors who are in need of the type of services that we, at Right at Home Brooklyn, offer and to advise them on how to help a loved one who may need professional home care services through Right at Home.

A few conversations stand out that Right at Home Brooklyn’s representatives Janet Gounis and Tony Aguilar had with the many who approached their table. One such chat was with a veteran who shared how it was a significant privilege to serve in the U.S. military, and how he was married for 52 years to his childhood sweetheart. Another was with a beautifully dressed woman, who, when it was mentioned how lovely her outfit was, remarked that she made the hat she was wearing. It was stunning!

Attending these expos is a good deal of work, but always worth the effort especially when our local seniors can find various services that will make their lives a bit healthier and easier. Right at Home Brooklyn is committed to these two principles: making life a little healthier and easier for those seniors who want the independence of living at home, and for their families who want the peace of mind knowing their loved ones are professionally and compassionately cared for.
