Autism Speaks - Team Sean

On Saturday, October 20th, Right At Home Bux/Philly sponsored "Team Sean" at the Autism Speaks Walk in Philadelphia.
Team Sean was started five years ago by Right at Home Care Coordinator Julisa Boyer, whose 11-year-old son Sean is diagnosed with autism. Denise Bernstein, Right at Home Bux/Philly owner, has been sponsoring Team Sean for the past three years. Right at Home purchases shirts not only for the team to wear during the walk, but also as part of the team's fundraising. The proceeds for every shirt sold go directly to Autism Speaks for awareness and services.
When asked what it means to her to have Denise and Right at Home Bux/Philly sponsor Sean's team, Julisa said, "It means everything that I work for a company that cares not only for my son and my family, but also for the entire autism community."
Autism Speaks Walk is the world's largest autism fundraising event dedicated to improving the lives of people with autism. Powered by the love of parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, relatives, and supporters, the funds raised help ensure people of all abilities have access to the tools needed to lead their best lives.
The walk may be over, but the needs are ongoing. Team Sean is still raising funds to have a voice with legislators, to have access to information and resources, to support research and medical discovery, and to help fund local services through the mission of Autism Speaks.
