The United Methodist Retirement Communities (UMRC) Foundation welcomes renowned dementia expert Teepa Snow to offer her wisdom and training on November 6, 2018 at Washtenaw Community College, Morris Lawrence Building.
Morning Session: 8:00-11:30 AM: Providing Quality Care Throughout the Journey of Dementia
Afternoon Session: 12:30-4:00 PM: Enhancing Mobility and Reducing Fall Risks
A leading educator on dementia, Teepa Snow will provide training in the Positive Approach™, aimed at caregivers and families of those with dementia, as well as community members. The Positive Approach™ is an innovative, medically-proven caregiving program designed to improve quality of life and reduce stress for those with dementia and their caregivers.
