Right at Home joined forces with Fieldstone Place and AseraCare Hospice, to host a Back to School Indoor Carnival. In July, Grandparents, parents, and their children participated in traditional carnival activities like ring toss, face painting, fishing pond, and a magic show – and in non-traditional carnival activities like golf and a photo booth.
The goal was to provide family fun while collecting school supply donations for students and teachers.
The carnival was a huge success with items donated ranging from backpacks and folders to dry erase markers and hand sanitizers.
On Thursday, August 17th, all the donations were compiled and presented to Barksdale Elementary School. In the future, we hope to make this an annual event and to collect enough donations for multiple schools.
