Dementia Live at Oconee Memorial Hospital | Clemson
In just 30 minutes, you can experience what it feels like to have dementia. Participants in groups of four will see, hear and experience the world as someone with dementia does. Afterward, the small group will process the experience. Most caregivers report increased empathy for those with dementia.
Demenita Live! is ideal for anyone who knows or lives with someone with dementia or anyone working in health care and home care. It is free, open to the public and takes place at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca. You will be assigned one of these afternoon time slots: 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00pm or later as needed.
