2017 Northeast Region Caregiver Of The Year – Kim Schirrman
Kim Schirrman is the Northeast Region winner of Right at Home’s 2017 Caregiver of the Year award. Kim is observant and eager-to-learn. She is good at establishing a strong relationship with her clients, gaining their trusts and helping them navigate difficult situations.
Kim became a professional caregiver in 1993. She joined Right at Home in 2009 and five years after that, she received a sponsorship from the agency to obtain her Home Health Aide certification at the Christine Institute of Vocational Training. Since then, Kim had also completed training in hospice and Alzheimer’s care. She is also an active member of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
