Working with the Community to Protect Seniors

Sun Coast Senior Council

As one of our efforts to better support our clients and the local senior community, our team at Right at Home has joined the board of the Sun Coast Senior Council.  The council's goal is to protect seniors from abuse and neglect, and to provide advocacy for older adults who are underprivileged and at risk. 

We will be joining the council's meeting on at Grand Villa of Englewood on Wednesday September 5 at noon, to network with other community agencies involved with senior care and elderly concerns. The topic of the meeting will be "Aging: How Not to Do It" presented by Karen Amador. Karen was president of Our Charlotte Elder Affairs Network (OCEAN) for eleven years.
