For many, death is scary and difficult to discuss. We bring our fears, our childhood experiences with death, our culture, our belief systems, and our stereotypes to the bedside of the dying and the dead. Generally, none of those ideas accurately explain how people die. This webinar brought to you by Right at Home South Shore Long Island, we will analyze the fear of death as it relates to our social norms, identify signs of approaching death from disease, and explain the process of dying from disease vs. dying by happenstance.
Presented by Barbara Karnes, RN

- Explore their personal beliefs concerning death.
- Neutralize the fear of dying.
