Right At Home Beverly Hills and Burbank Provides Pizza As a Thank You
Right at Home Supports Local Skilled Nursing Facility By Providing Lunch For Staff
Right at Home in Glendale/Burbank recognizes the heroic and selfless work being done by staff of Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Los Angeles county. The work the nurses, nurse aides, physical and occupational therapists as well as the maintenance and kitchen teams and other essential workers at the care facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic is vitally important to the Los Angeles community.
As a small token of appreciation, Right at Home treated the entire staff at Kennedy Care Center to pizza, courtesy of Domino's.
“Our relationship with Kennedy Care Center has always been strong,” said Right at Home Community Liaison Nika Tolbert. “Providing lunch to their hard-working and dedicated staff is the least we could do.”
The Kennedy Post-Acute Care Center has been providing service to the Los Angeles community since 1960. Small, but nimble, Kennedy Care Center has the unique ability to customize and accommodate the individual needs of their patients, from what they like to eat to what activities they enjoy to even the places they like to visit. Whether it’s a few short weeks while in rehabilitation and recovery from a hip replacement, to perhaps longer term residency, Kennedy’s goal is to make sure their residents feel safe, impeccably cared for, comfortable and well accommodated during – and even after - their stay with them.
Recently, Right at Home partnered with Kennedy Care Center in a successful presentation to doctors from nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. “We look forward to continuing to have successful partnerships with the Kennedy Care Center in the near future,” continued Tolbert.
Right at Home’s support of Kennedy Care Center is just one of the many efforts the highly lauded agency is making to support the community during the COVID-19 crisis. In addition to continuing to supply home care aides 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, Right at Home has gone out of its way in providing PPE for staff and clients, initiated informational videos with senior care leaders throughout Los Angeles county and offered staffing support to area facilities.
