Caregiver Recognition
We want the best for our caregivers and our clients. Right at Home is seeking caring and compassionate caregivers who enjoy making a difference in the life of a senior and/or an adult with disabilities. Recognizing and honoring our caregivers is an important part of the Right at Home culture.

We are so proud to announce Natalia Morrow as recipient of the 1st Caregiver of the Quarter Award of 2021. Natalia started working for Right at Home in 2018 and has been a vital part of our organization ever since. The care she provides for her client and her dedication to the company is simply not definable through mere words. She is mindful of what is required from her and we appreciate her being pro-active when it comes to keeping her credentials up to date helping us remain in compliance with State requirements. She is loved by her client, client’s family and well-liked by other caregivers. She successfully carry out our mission by improving the lives of those we serve. We are very proud of her and so blessed to have her in our team!
“I have been in Henderson/Boulder City for 30 years this past March. I enjoyed caring for people early on when I moved to California at age 19 and was a nanny. I have been in the medical field since 1989. And have a diverse experience in multiple fields. I have always enjoyed the one on one care. I have been a full time caregiver for three and a half years now. With all my years in the medical field, caregiving is the most rewarding position i have done. I will be starting back to school in September to UNLV for CNA. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is seeing my clients’ smile when I walk in the door and they're comfort level knowing I'm there to help with their day to day needs.” - Natalia Morrow
Caregiver of the Quarter Vanessa Romero

Vanessa joined Right at Home team in 2019. Vanessa has handled some difficult clients and always maintains a positive attitude towards her work. She has over 12 years of experience as a caregiver. She is well liked by her clients. Vanessa maintains good communication with the management team and can be counted on to help out whenever she is needed to fill in. She represents Right at Home well. We are proud to have her as a part of our team!
“I have been a caregiver in Vegas since we moved here from Ventura, California in 2018. I have always had an affection towards the elderly and started taking Caregiving classes which confirmed this is for me. I have been a caregiver for over e12 years now. I love meeting new families and listening to my clients as they share their past. This is captivating to me. I love how open and candid the elderly community is. I love going to the movies, which is one thing I miss these days. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys – walking our dogs together, church, enjoying football season. What makes me smile? Doing volunteer work at Royal Family Kids Camp for foster kids and fostering animals." – Vanessa Romero
Caregiver of the Quarter Kemberly Parker
2020 3rd Quarter
Rookie Caregiver of the Quarter Paige Buettner
2020 2nd Quarter
Caregiver of the Quarter Kassandra Clark
2020 2nd Quarter
I came to Vegas 2 1/2 years ago. I became a caregiver shortly after moving here when I decided to switch from child care to elderly care. My favorite things about being a caregiver are being able to make a difference in my clients lives as well as being able to learn from them through their stories and life experiences. I also value the everyday joy they give me while providing excellent care.
In my free time I like to spend time with my husband, dogs and rabbit. Enjoying the outdoors and mind puzzles.
But what makes me smile?! That's a hard one, I’m always smiling!
Caregiver of the Quarter Candace "Candi" Folkerson
2020 1st Quarter
I moved back to Las Vegas in April, 2011 from Colorado Springs. Colorado is too cold in the winter. I started being a caregiver when I was 16. My Mom was very sick so I helped her. At 18, I became a CNA. Through the years, I have taken care of family and friends as well as working in some nursing homes. I’ve been a caregiver on and off for over 40 years. I did take time to raise my four beautiful children. I enjoy helping those that need assistance, making things at least a little easier for them. I love to listen to clients talk about their lives. Most have lived very interesting lives. I enjoy reading, cooking, crocheting and spending time with my husband. I love the time I get to be with my granddaughters. I enjoy my grandson but don’t get to see him as much. What makes me smile? My husband, children and grandchildren make me happy.
Seeing other people happy and knowing I can serve others makes me smile!
Caregiver of the Quarter Caitlin Brunner
2019 4th Quarter
We’d like to announce the most recent winner of the – Caregiver of the Quarter Award!
A little about Caitlin: Caitlin was born and raised in Las Vegas. She has been a caregiver for almost 3 years. Her personal experience as a caregiver began when her grandmother was very sick and she began caring for her. Her favorite thing about being a caregiver is being able to help someone do something that brings them independence. She has recently gone back to school for CNA training.
Caitlin started working with Right at Home in July 2018 and has been a vital part of our organization ever since. Caitlin has worked with a variety of clients during her time with Right at Home, including some of the most difficult and specialized situations. When Caitlin came to Right at Home she had just recently been trained as a PCA but did not have any professional experience. She jumped in with both feet and quickly became one of our most skilled and well-liked caregivers. Our office staff knows Caitlin can go into any situation and she will be prepared, able to do the job and well received by those she serves. Catilin is an excellent example of our mission “to improve the quality of life for those we serve.”
Thank you Caitlin! You are a blessing to Right at Home and to your clients.
Caregiver of the Quarter Mayra Zielinkski
2019 3rd Quarter
We’d like to announce the most recent winner of the – Caregiver of the Quarter Award!
From clients family about Mayra's service:
Dear Will and Kelley,
I want to express sincere thanks and appreciation for the service you provided all these months in caring for Don. It started with your phone call, Will, where you were so honoring of Don as your teacher, someone who had impacted you, and now you were bending over backwards to reach out to him. You sent us Mayra, and she was a gift from God. We knew her casually, but now she is a dear and cherished friend.
Don looked forward to Mayra coming. She was sweetness and joy, and quickly learned how to "handle him". She was my lifeline, for during her two hours I could walk away from the responsibilities of caregiver. Sometimes I slept, sometimes I shopped, sometimes I gardened, sometimes I caught up business, but always it was freeing to know Don was being cared for lovingly and responsibly. I assume you know, but let me reiterate, it was Mayra who gave us one more week with Don. When he collapsed with the second heart attack, she was sitting right beside him and had him on the floor, doing CPR and calling 911 all at the same time. Even though his heart stopped, she kept him going until the paramedics arrived and took over. Once he was in the care of the hospital, the paramedics came to me wanting to know who she was, and spoke with admiration and awe of her competency and ability. She brought respect not only to herself, but to your organization; she represented you well.
I look back on these fifteen months, and see God's care and provision every step of the way. Through Right at Home, you were part of that, and I am forever grateful. I am reminded that your mom shared with me when you returned from Little Rock, and were starting this business. I never dreamed I would be a recipient. It was immensely rewarding to be involved with the Ferrence family once again.
You will continue to impact others at critical times in their lives; I can attest to the impact of that. Each one who reached out to us showed us kindness and caring. May God bless you richly.
--You are in His service.
From Mayra in her own words on receiving this recognition:
Hi Vicki,
I am very humbled and honored to have received the Caregiver of the Quarter Award. Thank you all so much.
When I was a young child we lived in Rhode Island but I was born in Chicago while my mom was on vacation. She vowed at that moment to never take me on vacation again, lol.
My family moved to Las Vegas when I was 4 years old. My school years were spent in Las Vegas. For my ninth grade year I lived in the Dominican Republic. In Nevada I have lived in many of the outskirts of town. I have also lived in Pahrump and now Boulder City for the last 22 years. My husband and I have raised all four of our kids in Boulder City.
I was not originally looking for a caregiving position. As I looked at my resume I realized I was already caregiving on a volunteer basis. The Indeed Company kept sending me Caregiving positions and stating "this job is perfect for you". Caring for people is where my heart is. It's wonderful to think that I could get paid to do what I naturally love to do.
I have been caregiving for family and friends for years. Some of these people I met by trying to help them get basic needs met through assistance or finding resources for their specific need. The overall well being of people has always been something I care deeply about. It has been very surprising to me that even doing simple things can improve the quality of life of a person.
Right at Home is the first company I have worked for as a Caregiver. It has now been over a year. I reccomend Right at Home to many people because they care not only about their clients but also about their Caregivers. My personal life and schedule matter to Right at Home. They know that if I have time to cultivate my life and am happy I will be a better Caregiver to my/our clients.
I feel very privileged that these individuals would allow me to come into their lives and help them help themselves. These relationships with my clients are very precious to me. They always have so much wisdom and experience to share with me. I truly enjoy my time with my new friends.
Caregiver of the Quarter Michele Eber
2019 2nd Quarter
We’d like to announce the most recent winner of the – Caregiver of the Quarter Award!
Michele started working with Right at Home in 2017 and has been a vital part of our organization ever since. Michele works with 2 longtime clients of Right at Home and is a terrific representative of our company. Michele is an experienced, knowledgeable caregiver who knows how to work independently while still maintaining her role as part of the Right at Home team. Michele is competent, compassionate and reliable. Michele can be counted on to complete insurance requirements through clocking in and out and completing her tasks in Clear Care. She is loved by all those she works with and is an excellent example of our mission “to improve the quality of life for those we serve.” Thank you Michele! You are a blessing to Right at Home and to your clients.
Michele grew up in New York City and moved to Las Vegas in 1986. She was the primary caregiver for each of her parents during their final years and during those times she witnessed and experienced the joy and relief that good caregivers provided. (The caregivers she met had been primarily provided by hospice but I also witnessed countless interactions between my parents and their caregivers over the years in various medical settings.) After her mom died in 2013, all she could think about (as far as future employment was concerned) was becoming a "caregiver" myself.
She started working as a caregiver in April, 2014 and never looked back.
Michele told us, "I have numerous "favorite" things about being a Caregiver. I love earning the smiles and trust of initially reluctant clients. I love how at the end of each day I genuinely feel that I have made a useful and important contribution to someone else's day, however simple any given task might be (hope that doesn't sound too corny....). I am frequently blown away by the depth of my clients' -- and their families' -- gratitude and appreciation. I am inspired by the ways in which my clients (and their families) have made peace with their various situations; In a way, I think this job allows me to see the best of people at their hardest of times. I feel lucky to be doing this work."
