Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help with meal planning and preparation.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Assist with medication reminders and monitoring.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Right at Home team.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client’s condition.

Caregiver Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but your passion for this work is what counts the most.
  • A compassionate and caring heart. While this work is rewarding, it can be challenging. It’s important to have compassion as we serve our neighbors at the level they deserve.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a client advocate in you.
  • You’ll need a valid driver's license and reliable transportation along with the ability to pass a background check to ensure our clients are safe.
