Drive-In to Your Next Career! We will be hosting a drive-in movie-themed event for applicants to come to apply as a Right at Home Caregiver! Expect popcorn, candy, water bottles, and more. Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
- Eating
- Dressing/Shaving
- Performs client-specific tasks.
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Preparing special diets
- Dementia care
- Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
- Possess or obtain a valid TB test
- 6 months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare preferred
- CNA or HHA license is preferred
