Welsh Interviewed on WXYZ-TV About Alzheimer's

Jeff Welsh was interviewed Sept. 20 on WXYZ-TV, the local ABC affiliate. He owns the Right at Home office in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., with his wife, Bev, and his brother, Robert. In recognition of World Alzheimer's Day on Sept. 21, Jeff came to the studio to raise awareness of the disease and offer advice to family members on how to cope better with a loved one’s diagnosis. First, Jeff described a couple of warning signs individuals begin to show as they develop Alzheimer's, like memory loss. Then, he talked about how Alzheimer’s can affect not only the individual’s everyday life, but also their family’s lives. He also suggested ways loved ones can better interact with individuals with Alzheimer’s.
