As we started growing older; we learned life is not perfect and life does not always go our own way. By the time we reach old age, chances are we have already developed a resilience thinking that will help us accept the wear and tear of aging, but there are other cases where seniors need help to deal with problems and crises during the aging process.

At Right at Home, we've chosen six Palm Beach elderly charities that focus on older adults, their needs, health, transportation, and resources to cope with everyday struggles. There are many other top-rated charities that serve all age groups. Here, we’re mentioning a few that focus mainly on our seniors.

How You Can Help

Giving in more impactful when it reaffirms your values and connects you to the people who are needing your help. One of the most satisfying ways to support people in need is to volunteer and experience the difference you make in the life of aging seniors.

We invite you to identify the ways in which you can volunteer that are most meaningful to you and put into practice all those desires to serve others.

Volunteering

Volunteers are an indispensable part of any nonprofit organization, as they help care for families in their time of greatest necessity. No matter what your skills or interests are, you can have a significant impact on the lives of others.

There are many volunteer opportunities in Palm Beach and Broward counties.

Donating Money

Donating money to elderly charities you care about not only benefits the organizations themselves but can also be very rewarding for you. Millions of people contribute to charity regularly to support the causes they believe in, as well as for the positive impact it has on their life.

Things To Consider

Don't give money or your time to any organization that sends you donation requests; make sure your contribution is something that will really make a difference. But how do you know which organizations will ensure that your charitable dollar will have the greatest impact?

It's important to do a little research on the organization we want to help, know its financial health, research the organization's accomplishments, and how it is working toward its mission today.
