Senior Outreach Services Program

We are so fortunate to have Dr. Sina Ward who runs the Senior Outreach Services program through the Sanford Center for Aging at UNR (University of Nevada at Reno) be the voice of seniors in need in the Reno area. Mostly run by volunteers, the program has been around since 2002 and serves the elder population in Washoe County. They put on monthly talks that address the biggest issues seniors are facing. In 2019, this has primarily been housing issues.
