Kindness Car Parade

Spreading Kindness and Support in Our Communities

Kindness Car Parade

Right at Home and Dinkelbach Design came together and created EKG (Elder Kindness Gang) in an effort to “pump love and life into the senior community one act of kindness at a time!” Our Facebook Group– Elder Kindness Gang – Sacramento Chapter- is a forum for those who want to volunteer or participate in something going on in their community but didn’t know where to look prior. If you need volunteers, become a member and post your event! If you’re in search of a good cause to support…become a member! There are so many people who want to give back and have a big focus on the senior community. We do this to serve our community. Anyone can participate and can become an E.K.G. Member – Join us in being “the change” this world needs!

Our most recent project is the Kindness Car Parade. The purpose is to spread love and support and show that we are truly all in this together. This parade is done while still maintaining social distance in our vehicles! Week after week our parade has grown and it shows just how committed this community is to help and come together during this difficult time.  We know we are not alone when we say that it is truly moving to see the residents smiling and waving in front of the buildings or even from their apartment windows! We are so appreciative of our seniors, first responders, and all essential workers. We just want to do a little something to show them how much we care.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for future dates and communities where we will be cruising to next.

Here are some quick clips of the fun we've had cruising and spreading cheer and kindness in the communities:
