Caring for the Aging Workshop:

Understanding How VA Programs Can Help with Care

September Caring for the Aging Workshop

What:   Caring for the Aging Workshop: Understanding How VA Programs Can Help with Care

When:  Saturday, September 29 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Where: LIVE on Facebook

Join Right at Home - Sacramento/Davis and Jaynie Guarnieri Dame of askjaynie for the next of our FREE Special “Caring for the Aging” Educational Webinar Series. On the last Saturday of each month we will host a webinar focused on the key issues affecting those responsible for the care of a senior loved-one and those who are in the thick of providing the actual hands on care. Whether you are the family member of a senior needing or receiving care, or a caregiver providing the care, these workshops were developed for you.

Are you a Veteran? Are you the spouse of a Veteran? Are you in need of assistance around the house or do you need to move to a community where you can get assistance, but you just can’t afford the high prices?

Well then, you need to join us in a brief but important webinar. We will talk about your options and the help you might qualify for through the VA administration. Aid and Attendance was created for Veterans and their spouses, or widowed spouses to help with the day to day chores of living as we age.

Jayne Guarnieri - Ask Jaynie

Jaynie Guarnieri Dame from askjaynie.com has a 20 plus year background as a Geriatric Care Manager and has helped countless seniors and their families. As an advocate for the rights of all seniors, she has fought for Medicare rights, and prevented premature discharges from hospitals, getting her clients the care they need by empowering families to get the medical care the deserve. She provides monthly support and education to all primary care providers through her “Wine About Your Aging Parents, Brew Up a Better Care Plan” group meetings in the Greater Sacramento area. As an Administrator through the state, she knows guidelines for placements and care options. And after working with hospice, she has the understanding and knowledge to talk with families about their options for final care. Jaynie is someone you want on your team and we look forward to having her present on this important topic that is on the top of most of our minds when it comes to care. Visit the askjaynie.com website: http://www.askjaynie.com.

Please join us for this informative session. Hopefully, we will answer some burning questions and eventually guide you through that maze of paperwork to qualify for what is rightfully yours.
