Networking to End Alzheimer's Disease
Alzheimer’s disease is a disease of the brain that impairs memory, language and mood. It affects millions of families worldwide, alters lives and takes futures.
Our community relations team recently participated in “Networking with a Heart to End Alzheimer’s Disease” with our fellow senior service community partners to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The event was held at the Gaslight Restaurant located at Marketplace in Lynnfield off of Route 128 and was graciously hosted by our friends at Brightview Senior Living of Danvers, North Andover and Wakefield.
From our Right at Home Salem-Marblehead team, Celeste Begley, Community Relations Director and Victoria Guskiewicz, Community Relations Coordinator attended. “We were so happy to see so many of our friends and peers join together in the fight against Alzheimer's Disease,” said Celeste.
Over 100 elder care guests attended the event from the North Shore area. As attendees we participated in raffles, activities and networking with our peers to benefit this great cause. Brightview’s goal is to raise $250,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association and we were delighted to be part of this cause by participating in the event.
