COVID-19 Safety Protocols and Emergency Preparedness
In times of uncertainty, you’re looking for someone you can trust. You know home care is essential in helping to keep your loved one safe at home, but not just anyone will do. Right at Home Boston and North has been trusted by countless families because caring for our most vulnerable populations takes the experience that comes with 25 years of home care experience. Our CareTeam members are trained in and accustomed to using universal precautions such as proper hand-washing and sanitization. In addition to these precautions, we are following the current recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health
- Avoiding close contact/social distanicing when possible
- Properly using face masks and other personal protective equipment
- Monitoring health for possible symptoms
- Screening all CareTeam members for symptoms on a regular basis
- Our nursing team is calling all clients regularly to screen for COVID-19 symptoms
Our seniors need us to protect them. The safety and well-being of your loved one is our top priority, and you wouldn’t expect anything less.
Right at Home Boston and North has pulled together a team of specialized workers called Condition Recovery Specialists to help the people of Massachusetts during this pandemic. These skilled RN’s, LPN’s and CNA/CHHA’s have participated in trainings regarding the care of those recovering from COVID-19, disinfection procedures and how to use and care for all the PPE needed to care for clients who are recovering at home. Short term 24/7 care for people who are recovering from COVID-19 at home is available. If your loved one is being discharged from an area hospital, call 877-500-CARE and inquire if we have availability to help your loved one during this difficult time.
COVID-19 Safety Protocols and Emergency Preparedness
Right at Home Boston and North’s greatest priority is the health and well-being of our clients and caregivers. As a society, we are facing unprecedented challenges presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19). As a leading provider of home care services, we recognize our team serves a vulnerable population, and we take that privilege very seriously. Potential exposure will remain lowest for those who can stay in their homes, wherever they may call home, with limited outside contact. It is our desire to work with you and your family to maintain this option for your loved one.
As part of our standard operating procedures, Right at Home of Boston and North's caregivers are trained on ways to reduce the risk of illness. We all have the responsibility to remain vigilant about good handwashing. This cannot be overstated. Right at Home of Boston and North is actively monitoring the recommendations and guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, and our state and local departments of health. COVID-19 is creating many “never before” moments that we are all working through together. We thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones.
