Melissa Herrygers
Director of Operations
Coordinating the thousands of details involved in managing the care plans for hundreds of clients, family members, and caregivers is the central role of our Director of Operations, Melissa Herrygers.
An Ohio native and Florida resident since 1987, Melissa has been in healthcare for 14 years, eight as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and ten as a trusted colleague at Right at Home. As a dedicated advocate for quality care, Melissa’s top priority is ensuring that all clients have the best possible experience with Right at Home. Her years of experience in Client Care Coordination and Client Relations, where strong communication skills are essential, has prepared her well to liaise with families and caregivers on matters relating to scheduling and quality assurance programming.
When she is not juggling client care needs and caregiver scheduling, Melissa enjoys spending time “glamping” with family and friends.
Stan Roland, RN BSN, CDP
Director of Nursing
Stan grew up in the mountains of West Virginia, obtaining a Bachelor of Nursing from Salem College and interning at NIH. From there, Stan joined Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, working in a variety of units, from oncology to open heart surgery to the ICU. After ten years, Stan decided to move into home health, enjoying the interaction with clients and receiving a Certified Dementia Practitioner license.
Stan’s open-door policy and open personality mean clients and caregivers alike are welcome to talk with him about anything at any time – something that Stan finds very rewarding. Outside of work, you’ll find Stan offshore fishing, enjoying leisurely time around the pool, fascinated by astronomy, playing with his 185-pound Great Danes, and cheering on the Buccaneers.
Michelle Weeks
Director of Human Resources
Michelle is a Florida native who obtained her BS in Psychology and Master’s in Behavior Analysis, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Florida. From there, she spent over 10 years as a CBA (Certified Behavior Analyst), working with children and adults with disabilities for a non-profit organization. Michelle then made a career change, studying accounting and working with an accounting firm for the next few years.
At Right at Home, Michelle has been able to combine both her love for helping others by directly managing both the Human Resources and Finance Departments as well as overseeing all day to day office operations. Michelle has found a home at Right at Home and is so proud to be working with such a phenomenal team.
Outside of work, Michelle is an avid car enthusiast, a lover of books, music, and art, a foodie, and especially enjoys spending time with her fiancé and family, appreciating all of the beaches and beauty of Sarasota.
