Walpole 300th Anniversary

As we wind down the year, Right at Home would like to wish Walpole a wonderful 300th Anniversary! This vibrant town has undergone a lot of changes since it was first incorporated in 1724. Check out Walpole Historical Society for more details about Walpole’s history. There are so many things that make Walpole special, and in this post, we would like to highlight some of our favorites and show why Walpole is known as “The Friendly Town”!

Fun facts about Walpole:

  • It was originally part of Dedham
  • It was named after Sir Robert Walpole (the first Prime Minister of Great Britain)
  • Right at Home Boston Southwest opened its doors in 2007 in downtown Walpole
  • The owners of Right at Home Boston Southwest were both born and raised in Walpole
