Recognizing Sandie Sarnowski, Our Caregiver of the Month
Sandie is a true professional RAH caregiver (CNA), in which her clients feel cared for, and most often want no others. She is able to recognize their weaknesses and help them in all aspects of supportive living care from there. She thinks of all of the details for her clients. She helps them with physical cares as well as cooking, cleaning, meds and is very detailed upon taking them to doctors’ appointments. You can truly see she loves what she does.
Sandie is one of our Medicare partnered CNA’s, a representative for RAH in larger buildings such as Hallmark, and she is also one of our tried and true strengths behind the phones with on-call, a very difficult job, keeping her on her toes. She is a very reliable RAH representative, arranging her schedule to fit client needs as much as possible. “She is always lending a hand.” Her documentation is precise, she attends in-services, and she always completes RAH University in-services on time, without hesitation.
One of her client’s daughters said that “Sandie is the kind of person I always wanted to be with my nursing degree.”
According to one of her clients, Jeanne Mass, she said “Sandie is decidated, you can really tell.” She does all the little extra things… you don’t have to tell her what to do, she just does them. She takes the garbage out to the recyclables when needed, she drags the garbage cans up to the house when arriving and noticing they are at the curb. I think Sandie is just like that…it’s just in her to care for others.”
Sandie has 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 2 of which she has been raising for 15 years, and 5 great grandchildren. For hobbies, she enjoys crochet, puzzles and country music. Her reason for being in homecare is that she enjoys caring for the elderly; and her goal: “To be the Best I can be!”
Thanks Sandie, we’re very glad you are part of Right at Home.
