The Stinson Neurology Foundation Grant Program

Right at Home Wichita knows caregiving is tough and we will do all we can to help seniors and their loved ones in the communities we serve. As such, we recognize the value of The Stinson Neurology Foundation Grant Program. This program is designed for people living with neurological disease and their loved ones who care for them. The Foundation's mission is to give caregivers of those with neurological deficits a chance to breathe by providing respite care.

"Helping People During Their Season of Caregiving Through Respite Care Assistance"

Their Story

The Stinson Neurology Foundation was founded in 2023 and named for Bill Stinson, who lost his battle with ALS in 2022. The cost for home healthcare services has nearly doubled over the past few years making outside help nearly impossible for some of those struggling with a neurological condition.

The Foundation's Vision

We want to supplement the costs of home healthcare to help those caring for their loved ones with a neurological condition. By partnering with Right at Home Wichita, we can provide relief for the caregivers at a substantially reduced cost.

Their Mission

We believe caregivers need to take care of themselves so they may have the energy and patience to take care of their loved one. Our foundation helps provide that downtime for the caregiver that is so desperately needed.

The Foundation's Services

  • Provide 48 hours of respite care to be used within twelve weeks at a reduced cost.
  • The caregiver can use all at once or spread the time out during the twelve weeks.
  • To qualify you must have a need and be diagnosed.
