Winston-Salem Veteran & Senior Care Community Involvement

The Brewer’s represent Right at Home in many local volunteer organizations as a means of giving back to the communities in which they service.

Their commitment to the Winston-Salem community is evident through their involvement in programs like the Parkinson’s Foundation’s “Moving Day,” the Reynolda Rotary Club of Winston-Salem, the Shepherd’s Center, SECU Family House, and Clemmons Community Foundation. Their office proudly supports scholarships at Wake Forest University for football and other sports. In addition, Greg is a football mentor. Greg and Jackie also sponsor an internship program through Winston-Salem State University.

“Our mission is to improve the lives of those we serve,” said Greg. “We do that with our clients every day, and we are able to do even more by working with other amazing organizations that share the same mission.”

Greg Brewer speaking to Veterans

We had the privilege of speaking with veterans about the home care benefit that is available to them through the VA. It was our honor to be in a room with so many individuals that have served our country!

Thank you, Don Timmons and Trellis Supportive Care for coordinating this monthly event for our veterans.

Nurses Week Right at Home Winston Salem

May 12

Last week we celebrated our wonderful nurse Catherine Ward! She works so hard to provide the best care for our clients. We appreciate Cathy and all nurses as we raise awareness of the important role nurses play in society.

National Nurses Week is a time for everyone to recognize the vast contributions and positive impact of America’s 4 million registered nurses. Each year, the celebration ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday. We hope you had the opportunity to thank a nurse.
