Caregivers
This opportunity will work one-on-one with three clients for a total of 30 hours each week. Mileage and drive time is paid while traveling between clients. Schedule is a minimum of 30 hours per week, full days Monday, Wednesday and Friday, afternoons only Tuesday and Thursday. No assigned shifts on Saturday or Sunday but additional hours are available if you want to work more.
Working one-on-one with your clients makes for a rewarding caregiver experience as you are able to personally invest in your clients. You can get to know your clients and really start to make a difference in their life.
As one of our caregivers, your safety is also our priority. We provide all levels of Personal Protection Equipment to our caregivers to use in the homes of our clients. You will received paid continuing education to stay up to date on infection control, client safety, caregiver best practices and disease education. The care of all of our clients are overseen by our Director of Nursing. You have a detailed care plan prepared for you and the resource of a full support staff if you have any questions or issues while with a client.

Caregiver Essential Functions:
- Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
- Personal Hygiene
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Dressing/Shaving
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Performs light housekeeping activities
- Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
- Providing hospice supportive care
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
- Care of bed-bound patients
- Incontinence care
- Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
Preferred Experience in:
- Hoyer lift
- Personal care

- Foley care
