A Day of Joy and Recognition
On February 16th, 2024, we hosted our Caregiver Appreciation Day, themed "Caring Across the Spectrum," to honor our Anne Arundel County caregivers. It was a day filled with joy, reflection, and heartfelt gratitude, acknowledging the compassionate care they provide daily.
The event was full of stories and laughter, with caregivers sharing moments highlighting the essence of professional caregiving. We had some fun activities for our caregivers, including games like guessing the number of chocolate kisses in jars and a Valentine's themed Scattergories. The winners received gift cards for their impressive guessing skills.
Gifts of appreciation were abundant, from the coveted RAH logo t-shirts to goodie bags brimming with chocolates and beautiful keepsake roses. Each caregiver also received a luxurious shower gel, adding a touch of indulgence to their day. The highlight for many was the delicious luncheon we served, with the happiness reflected in the take-home boxes they eagerly accepted.
Our caregivers, donned in their bright orange uniforms, are more than employees; they are the very essence of Right At Home. They transform houses into homes, bringing comfort, companionship, dignity, and respect to our seniors. On this day, we honored these heroes of home care, for the little things they do that mean everything to those they serve.
