Caregiver of the Year Program
Each year the Right at Home system, covering all 50 states, presents a “Caregiver of the Year” award. Each location has the ability to submit candidates who go “above and beyond the call of duty” to the corporate office. From that list of candidates, regional finalists are selected from each region. Finally, a national caregiver of the year is chosen to represent the entire franchise system. As part of this program, our Right at Home, serving Anne Arundel County, selects at least one caregiver of the year to be submitted as a candidate for national caregiver of the year.

First of all, we want to thank all of our caregivers for a great year here at Right at Home! We realize times have been difficult working through a pandemic. At the same time, You All have made it possible to continue to satisfy the needs of all of our clients!
This year's Right at Home Caregiver of the year goes to two caregivers: Gigi Edoho and Vivian Anei. Both have given of themselves endlessly to fulfill their clients’ needs. We have invited the two of them to join the office staff at the holiday dinner at Stony River in the Annapolis mall. Please join us in congratulating them for being our Caregivers of the Year!
We had a difficult choice in coming up with this year’s Caregiver of the Year – so many excellent caregivers to choose from! Congratulations to all of our finalists: Esther Afla, Feven Asefa, Romarick Dassie, John Ezeuka and Mary Ogodo. Finalists will receive a special American Express gift card. We appreciate all your dedication and flexibility in helping us to meet our clients’ needs!
In addition, at the end of the year, all caregivers are awarded monetarily for their contributions to the organization throughout the year.
Caregiver of the Year 2020 — Ineda Childers
Not only was Ineda Childers our November Caregiver of the Month, she's our Caregiver of the Year! Due to her outstanding commitment and dedication to our clients and to Right at Home, we selected Ineda as our nominee for Right at Home National Caregiver of the Year.
She received a Certificate of Recognition from the corporate office that mentioned Ineda as a nominee for the Right at Home National Caregiver of the Year. Since receiving her certificate, we learned Ineda was selected as one of 24 out of 19,550 caregivers in the nation to qualify for Caregiver of the Year! She is also selected as 1 of 3 in the running for Caregiver of the Year for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
We all wish Ineda the best!
