Because Someone I Love is a Senior®
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges for some of the most vulnerable in our communities: our senior loved ones!
There are many things we all can do to show that we care about the well-being of our senior loved ones during this critical time, like being diligent about hand-washing, staying 6 feet away from others, wearing a mask, and staying home when sick. All of these things can make a huge difference in reducing the spread of the coronavirus … a little kindness goes a long way!
One of the ways Right at Home gave back recently in response to the pandemic was with the sale of “Because Someone I Love Is a Senior” T-shirts to benefit the American Red Cross. Seniors have needed everyone’s help during the pandemic because older adults have been some of those most adversely affected. To draw attention to seniors and the caregivers who care for them, Right at Home created T-shirts with the slogan, “Because Someone I Love Is a Senior.” The shirts were a symbol that we can all take preventive actions to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
T-shirt proceeds were donated to the American Red Cross to help them maintain their blood bank supplies and disaster relief program.
