Showing Thanks with Pizza | Valley Presbyterian Hospital
Right at Home was proud to be able to treat the great staff at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys with lunch, courtesy of Domino’s Pizza, on Friday, August 7th. In addition, Right at Home gave all staff our popular back scratchers, which were very well received, and informed everyone of a Right at Home sponsored CEU webinar coming up in a few weeks.
We felt it was important to continue to show our support and appreciation for the heroic work our healthcare partners, such as Valley Presbyterian Hospital, are doing in our community during this pandemic,” stated Right at Home community liaison Nika Tolbert.
This is the not the first time during this national healthcare crisis that Right at Home has shown it’s support of our community partners, having also treated the staff at Kennedy Care Center and Windsor Gardens to lunch as well.
Dear Nika and Right at Home, thank you very much for coordinating and delivering 6 large Dominos Pizzas and the backscratchers for lunch,” said Virginia Napoles, Director of Volunteer Services for Valley Presbyterian Hospital. “Thank for your generous coordination and donations. The staff loved the backscratchers. The delicious pizzas were well received by the staff in the two nursing units taking care of the COVID-19 patients.
