Professional caregivers are innately driven to make a difference and nurture those they provide care for. They empower seniors and adults with disabilities to remain in their homes, and provide respite for families who need a break to rejuvenate. They are the heart of Right at Home and help thousands of families nationwide in our mission to improve their quality of life.

Right at Home celebrates Professional Caregivers Week Feb. 12-18 to coincide with National Caregivers Day, which is Friday, Feb. 17. To honor our caregivers who work tirelessly, here are some facts you may not know about the important role they play for families across the U.S.:

  • 383 offices across the U.S.
  • 44,900 Right at Home caregivers care for over 47,500 clients.

Right at Home caregivers help ensure the well-being of seniors as they age in place, reducing the number of required doctor visits for clients by 59,176, resulting in a savings of $13.8 million a year for our clients.1

  • Right at Home caregivers drive about 108,673 miles a month to reach seniors and adults with disabilities wherever they call home, providing services uniquely tailored to each person.
  • Right at Home caregivers work about 385,525 shifts a month, or 4,626,307 shifts a year.
  • More than 162,318 meals per month are cooked by Right at Home caregivers.
  • 705,954 lives touched.

Contact Right at Home* today and ask for a free in-home consultation.

1 Estimates are based on the average number of office visits per year from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the estimated reduction in doctor visits from the Home Care Association of America.

*Most Right at Home offices are independently owned and operated under a franchise agreement with Right at Home, LLC. In-home care services may vary by location.
