What Is the Value of a Professional Caregiver?
With the hustle and bustle of today’s world, professional caregivers are invaluable to families by helping to care for their elderly loved ones. According to a 2021 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 34% of Americans age 18 or older are either caring for an adult or are in the sandwich generation, juggling the care of both adults and children. Professional caregivers can step in and take over that care, either for a few hours a few days a week or even up to 24/7 care. They provide essential care to the elderly and people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, offering support that goes beyond just medical needs.
Friday, February 16, is National Caregivers Day. Right at Home* celebrates the professional caregivers in our locally owned offices today and every day and the role they play for families across the U.S. Here are some facts you may not have known about them:
  • 396 local Right at Home offices across the U.S.
  • 45,453 Right at Home caregivers care for over 47,984 clients.
