April Parkinson's Classroom Support Group

The complexity of Parkinson’s disease severely impacts families, caregivers and those with the disease. Our group provides an opportunity of support through various educational topics, guest speakers from Parkinson's experts and meeting others who understand living with the disease.

Join us for our monthly support group and meaningful conversation facilitated by Niki Sinopoli LICSW from Next Step Elder Care.

The topic for April is LSVT LOUD. LSVT LOUD improves vocal loudness by stimulating the muscles of the voice box (larynx) and speech mechanism through a systematic hierarchy of exercises. Learn some LSVT LOUD exercises to get a better understanding of the program and the impact it has on voice. Our speakers will be Rachael Licker, MS, CCC SLP and Emily Dubas, MS CCC-SLP
