Alzheimer's Memoir Program

Join Right at Home Boston Metro West on October 27, 2018 for a program with author Greg O'Brien discussing his memoir, "On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s." This program is presented by the MetroWest Alzheimer's Partnership, an affiliated Partnership of the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter.

About the author: 

Award-winning journalist Greg O’Brien will discuss his acclaimed memoir, "On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s," written about his own experiences living with early onset Alzheimer’s. In On Pluto, Mr. O’Brien bears witness to his own dwindling memory, his fears, his frustrations, and his ongoing faith to keep fighting and to keep reporting as long as he is able. On Pluto has garnered national attention, a series on NPR, and numerous speaking engagements across the country. Greg O’Brien has more than 35 years of newspaper and magazine experience as a writer, editor, investigative reporter and publisher. He has contributed to the Associated Press, USA Today, Boston Herald, Boston Metro, New York Metro, Philadelphia Metro, Providence Journal, Cape Cod Times, and Boston Magazine, where he was a senior writer.
