Join us as we discuss music therapy for the adult and senior population with dementia and other neurological and medical diagnoses
At the completion of the presentation you will:
- Understand the difference between clinical music therapy, music medicine and music listening programs that are offered to adults and seniors.
- Be able to identify how music can be used to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, pain and agitation by those suffering from dementia.
- Learn about an important technique used by music therapists that can help transform the mood for your clients and patients.
- Gain resources for yourself and your clients to further explore how to incorporate music into a daily routine for personal balance and stress management.

This presentation is just for Social Workers, Registered Nurses, Case Managers, and Geriatric Case Managers. This will not be a marketing or networking event, just a professional "virtual" venue for learning. Attendees can obtain 1 SW CE (submitted/pending) and 1 RN Contact Hour.

Guidelines for on-line learning (sorry but these are the rules):
• After the presentation you will receive a link to an on-line evaluation form and a post-test which you must complete AND pass (70%) in order to receive your certificate (via email).
• You must be in the presentation room no later than five minutes after the start or you will not gain entrance.
• If you leave the zoom presentation you will not be allowed back in.
