Connecting Music Therapy & Dementia - Exploring a bit further

Join us as we discuss music therapy for the adult and senior population with dementia and other neurological and medical diagnoses

At the completion of the presentation you will:

  • Understand the difference between clinical music therapy, music medicine and music listening programs that are offered to adults and seniors.
  • Be able to identify how music can be used to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, pain and agitation by those suffering from dementia.
  • Learn about an important technique used by music therapists that can help transform the mood for your clients and patients.
  • Gain resources for yourself and your clients to further explore how to incorporate music into a daily routine for personal balance and stress management.

Guidelines for on-line learning (sorry but these are the rules):

After the presentation you will receive a link to an on-line evaluation form and a post-test which you must complete AND pass (70%) in order to receive your certificate (via email).  
You must be in the presentation room no later than five minutes after the start or you will not gain entrance.  
If you leave the zoom presentation you will not be allowed back in.
