Virtual CE Presentation: Parkinson's Disease-What's New for 2020
Right at Home of Boston Metro West would like to invite you to:
Parkinson's Disease - What's New for 2020, A Free CE Presentation
This virtual CEU event will take place on Wednesday, September 30th from 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM sponsored by Right at Home Boston Metro West and co-sponsored by Maplewood at Weston and One Wingate/Wingate Residences at Needham!
This is still just for SWs, RNs, CMs and GCMs so there is no marketing or networking going on – just a very nice “virtual” venue for learning!
- Date: Wednesday, September 30th
- Time: 4:15 – 5:30 PM
Dr. Bissonnette tells us what’s new for 2020 in the field of Parkinson’s Disease research. While there’s no cure for Parkinson’s disease, recent research has led to improved treatments. Scientists and doctors are working together to find new treatments or prevention techniques.
Stephanie Bissonnette, DO. MPH, Neurology is the Director of Movement Disorders – Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Braintree, a Fellowship Trained Movement Disorder Specialist, Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Center, Boston Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Neurology, Boston University School of Medicine.
Please RSVP no later than Monday, September 25th at 5pm to Bob at bob@rahbostonmetro.com or 617-597-1500. I will need your name, email, and phone, sw/rn and license number to register you for the CEU credit. You will then get an “Official” Zoom Invite the day before the presentation which will contain the meeting ID and password for joining.
Guidelines for on-line learning (sorry but these are the rules):
- After the presentation you will receive a link to an on-line evaluation form and a post-test which you must complete AND pass (70%) in order to receive your certificate (via email).
- You must be in the presentation room no later than five minutes after the start or you will not gain entrance.
- If you leave the zoom presentation you will not be allowed back in (unless technical issue).
We look forward to seeing you then!!!
