Cambridge Connections Memory Cafe
Right at Home is supporting efforts from the Cambridge Council on Aging and Somerville Cambridge Elder Services to make our community more dementia friendly. Right at Home is the monthly snack sponsor for the Cambridge Connections Memory Café at the Citywide Senior Center in Cambridge, MA.
Celeste Begley, Community Relations Director: “We are excited to partner with Cambridge Council on Aging and Somerville Cambridge Elder Services and be an official sponsor of this wonderful community effort. We will be offering a monthly surplus of goodies including healthy and nutritious snacks and refreshments for all guests and volunteers.”
Brown Bag Program at the Arts for the Armory
Right at Home is active in the Cambridge community volunteering. Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services, together with the Greater Boston Food Bank, supplies hundreds of low-income seniors with a free bag of groceries every month. Volunteers help to unload the Food Bank truck, sort food items, and fill brown bags with healthy nutritious foods.
