Somerville Homeless Coalition Project SOUP Program

Dinner is served in Somerville!

somerville service project

This month Right at Home Boston and North participated in a service project with the Somerville Homeless Coalition Project SOUP Program. The community program was held October 22nd at the First Congregational Church. The program is free for those in need in Somerville and runs rain, sleet or shine, all year long every Monday evening. Project SOUP is New England’s oldest running free supper program. The Somerville Homeless Coalition provides homeless individuals and those in need with customized supportive services, housing solutions and more for the community.

RightTeam members from our office included Rosaleen Doherty, Co-Owner, Celeste Begley, Community Relations Director and Victoria Guskiewicz, Community Relations Coordinator. “We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with local groups and organizations in our community like Somerville Homeless Coalition and Project SOUP who are committed to serving others in need. These groups are in line with our own organization’s mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve,” said Rosaleen.

Our purpose at Right at Home Boston and North is changing the world one human interaction at a time. We have a passion for volunteering and giving back to our community. Special thank you to the Somerville Homeless Coalition and Project SOUP program coordinators. And shout out to Flame Cafe in Boston and mutual BNI Financial District Member. “Thank you Flame Cafe, the food was very much appreciated. The diners loved it!”, said Rosaleen.
