COVID-19 Safety Protocols and Emergency Preparedness

Our CareTeam members are trained in and accustomed to using universal precautions such as proper hand-washing and sanitization. In addition to these precautions, we are following the current recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

• Avoiding close contact/social distanicing when possible
• Properly using face masks and other personal protective equipment
• Monitoring health for possible symptoms
• Screening all CareTeam members for symptoms on a regular basis
• Our nursing team is calling all clients regularly to screen for COVID-19 symptoms

Right at Home Boston and North has pulled together a team of specialized workers called Condition Recovery Specialists to help the people of Massachusetts during this pandemic. These skilled RN’s, LPN’s and CNA/CHHA’s have participated in trainings regarding the care of those recovering from COVID-19, disinfection procedures and how to use and care for all the PPE needed to care for clients who are recovering at home. Short term 24/7 care for people who are recovering from COVID-19 at home is available.
