Amar Patel

Owner

I am a business and hospitality professional who has ten years of experience in the service industry to go along with a Business Management Degree and Masters in Global Hospitality Management.  With my heavy focus in Management I have always taken pride in leading and guiding the team around me in order to ensure the best quality service is being offered at all times.

In my culture it's very important that the parents stay at home with the eldest male child helping to take care of them as they get older.  Being an elder male child I have experienced this as my parents are getting older and have been needing more assistance around the house. This type of upbringing led me to Right at Home with my background in management and passion for the service industry I feel I could help so many families and elders in the same situation as myself. I want to help them live longer and happier in their own homes.

Lori Poisson, LPN, CDP

Director of RightCare Solutions

In her role as Director of RightCare Solutions, Lori is responsible for successfully transitioning clients from facility-based care to home care, fostering a sense of independence for clients to age in place and providing assistance to clients and their families throughout the aging and disease processes. Through a holistic approach, Lori develops customized care solutions for patients to ensure they have the right combination of services to remain safe and healthy at home. She also works with patients’ families to help them understand their role in the caregiving process and to ensure they have the supportive resources they need during that process.

lori

A 25-plus year veteran of home care, Lori began her career with a visiting nurse service as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA), caring for patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She found her passion for home care when she was a caregiver for her own mother for more than a decade in her own home. This gave her a unique perspective on how successful one-on-one, home-based care can be for both individuals and their families. It also opened her eyes to the struggles families face while caring for loved ones at home. Lori pursued her nursing degree so that she could provide additional services to those who wished to age in place. She honed her skills in providing individualized care with a personal touch to improve patients’ quality of life and to help them maintain dignity as they age.

Lori received her nursing degree from Baypath in Charlton, MA, and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. She also holds certifications in Dementia Live and Compassionate Touch training.

A volunteer with The Huntington’s Disease Society of America, Lori lives in Spencer, Massachusetts with her son and German Shephard, Princess.
