Why homecare and seniors?
Being in home care allows me to benefit from a supportive environment that nurtures career development with plenty of options for training and advancement. Most people take our ability to manage activities of daily living for granted. Being a caregiver allows me to help my clients manage their daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes.

What do you think are the most important characteristics of a good caregiver?
In my opinion the most important characteristics of a good caregiver is someone who is attentive. It is important when providing care that a caregiver is attentive to the needs and changes that are taking place. A good caregiver is patient. It’s someone who has the ability to multi task and a willingness to learn. A good caregiver should never be satisfied with their level of training or ability. A good caregiver should also be able to take responsibility and know that nobody’s perfect. A good caregiver should be able to fully accept any mistakes they make.
