We are committed to providing quality home care.

When our clients are happy we know we are doing our job well! Clients who are very satisfied are more likely to continue their loyalty to us and recommend Right at Home to other family members or friends who are in need of home care services. These factors help establish us as a respected company in our community.

We strive every day to provide dependable, high-quality home care to our clients and their families. One way we accomplish this is we answer phone calls 24 hours per day, 7 days per week so there is always an opportunity to request services or discuss a question or concern. Another way we provide high-quality home care is we regularly encourage clients to provide us feedback regarding how we are doing in delivering home care. This begins with the initial assessment as we discuss how we would like the client to feel compatible and comfortable with his or her caregiver.

Clients can feel confident in reporting how they feel about different aspects of our services. We use that feedback to guide how we run our business and how we deliver our services. Customer service calls are made to all of our clients to see how our services are working for them and if there is anything else we could be doing for them. These calls are another way for our clients to provide feedback.

Finally, Right at Home partners with Home Care Pulse, a survey company who contacts a certain number of clients or their family members per month to offer them another way to rate our caregivers, office staff, and overall experience with our company. We receive a monthly report with the results of these surveys and this report provides us another opportunity to follow-up with clients with any concerns or suggestions they may have about Right at Home. We take home care very seriously and we do not underestimate the important role it plays in peoples’ lives. We look forward to serving your needs.

Our Mission

Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.

Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.

Our History

During his years working as a hospital administrator, our founder Allen Hager watched many patients, especially seniors, leave the hospital and return home. But they did not necessarily return to health. Allen found that, once at home, a lot of his former patients were unable to care for themselves. He knew that with a little help, most of these people could lead healthy, happy lives in their homes. This became the idea for Right at Home.

After talking to dozens of families about the challenges they faced and what kinds of care would help, he became a certified nursing assistant to experience firsthand the needs of people who required professional assistance to continue living at home.

Today, with the help of Allen’s insights, Right at Home has grown to over 600 locations that serve tens of thousands of clients across the U.S. and around the world.

Our Philanthropies

Right at Home’s mission is “to improve the quality of life for those we serve,” and expanding our mission to serve others around the world is truly a pleasure. We support many organizations that help people live independently.

Free Wheelchair Mission

Globally, an estimated 70 million people with disabilities have no access to a wheelchair. Those who cannot walk must crawl or be carried to their destination. In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, Free Wheelchair Mission has distributed more than 1 million wheelchairs to people with disabilities in 93 developing countries around the world, providing renewed dignity, independence and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient.

As an organization, our work with Free Wheelchair Mission began in 2016 as we looked for a partner that would help us further our mission of improving lives worldwide. To date, our team’s efforts have raised more than $400,000 that has funded over 5,000 wheelchairs, which were distributed through life-changing Vision Trips to Vietnam, Ecuador and Costa Rica.

Josiah’s House

Over half of the children living in the Dominican Republic live below the poverty line and can be found on the streets in at-risk surroundings in order to make money. Josiah’s House runs family-style homes that provide vulnerable boys and girls with the basic necessities, education, life skills, and family home atmosphere needed to succeed.

Recently, 70 Right at Home offices came together to support Josiah’s House by supplying everyday items for the children of Josiah’s House. The group delivered suitcases full of clothing, personal hygiene items, toys, and other supplies.
